Psychic Tools: Tarot The Royal Pathway

Author: tolga savas

One of the best known psychic tools tarot cards is more popular than ever. One of the reasons for this is that it’s revealing powers are extremely insightful once in the hands of an intuitive psychic or a clairvoyant. Also it can be fun to read tarot cards for the hobbyist of metaphysics. What is tarot? And how do we gain insights from card, these questions can be better understood when we study divination it self.

Divination has existed since as long as cave dwellers, earliest forms of divination started in a form of geomancy (which means to use earth soil to divine to get spiritual insights from spiritual realms) geomancy is believed to reveal guidance from earth spirit “as soil is part of earth” And this form of divination can be seen intact and alive in most shamanistic cultures of Asia native America and Africa. Divination has always fascinated mankind; it intrigues the human imagination to get insights for tomorrows today. And tarot knowledge by no means has been forgotten although exact knowledge of it as once practiced by mystics of Persia and Egypt cannot be found today nonetheless it is very powerful and is very well known in western societies. Especially amongst metaphysical cultures. First let’s look at the history of Tarot and let’s travel back in time where it was believed to have been born.

  • Sacred knowledge the birth of Tarot

It is thought that use of tarot began in a world of mystical and magical era around 5000 to 6000 years ago along the vast meadows of ancient Egypt. Some metaphysics historians think that tarot got its name from the book of Thoth. This legendary book is believed to contain knowledge of highest order, so powerful that it could allow the reader to summon great powers over the earth and sky and also contained great powerful spell casting knowledge. And the Egyptian words for this book is believed to be Tar Ro “royal pathway” a pathway for opening the doors to spiritual dimension where wisdom and knowledge were at its highest consciousness.

This knowledge was believed to be guarded by mystics for over 2500 years. According to the myths and legends it made its way back on the scene to be read and translated by the wondering nomadic tribes called the Roma (now known as Romani or Gypsies, it is also said that those coming from Egypt were called Gypsies) these tribes had gained the wisdom and knowledge of tarot and mysticism, because their nomadic living which means that they travel, therefore tarot knowledge was carried with them. These assumptions cannot be proven and is left to the imagination of the researcher. One thing is certain and that is it had to have powers of dimension which are not visible yet exist, or else as we humans do not care to give much importance to those things which we find to be useless.

Therefore for thousands of year’s psychic clairvoyant’s soothsayer’s intuitive people of young and old had this translation of tarot at their hands to decipher the codes hidden in symbols? And there are many psychic clairvoyant today who understand this sacred royal pathway, psychic tarot readers walk on this pathway even though this road might exist in spiritual forms nevertheless they exist to attuned hearts, which are called the psychic hearts pathway.

What is an Atheist...Really?

Author: John Parks

What is an atheist? What does an atheist believe? Do atheists believe in anything at all? These are questions that most people ask when they encounter atheism for the first time. Many people are often put off by atheism when they first encounter it, especially if they haven't ever heard of the concept before, or have been taught that the belief system in which they were raised is the only acceptable belief system to have.

Simply put: an Atheist does not believe in the existence of a singular deity or God. Typically atheists reject theological teachings and reject the idea that there is a higher power guiding life on Earth.

An atheist does not believe in Satanism. In fact, the lack of belief in a higher power means that an atheist does not belief in a "lower" power either. You cannot have a demon or devil if you do not have angels or God. Unfortunately there are many people who believe that a lack of God fundamentally means that a person worships the "lower" beings. This is not true. Atheists reject theism as a whole. This means that they do not worry about "getting into heaven" or "ending up in hell." Without a God, heaven and hell do not exist.

This does not mean, however, that Atheists do not have strong beliefs of their own. Many atheists believe heavily in the power of science-things that can be seen and proven and are not prone to human-esque emotional judgments.

Another large misconception about atheism and atheists is that they cannot be happy or accepting of others. This is largely due to a type of atheism in which the atheist believes that those who do believe in God are weaker than he/she is-and are very vocal in this belief. Unfortunately, like in all things, the most vocal people in a group often get the most attention and help define their groups' stereotypes.

Perhaps the biggest misconception of the atheist and his/her beliefs is that an atheist cannot believe in morals or good/evil. Morality and good/evil does not belong solely to divine beings. Atheists believe in human decency just as much as those who attend every church service offered by their local house of worship. Atheists believe in right and wrong just like everyone else. The difference is that an atheist believes that good/evil and right/wrong morality is a social construct, not something handed down by a Supreme Being.

Many atheists deny their own atheism because they do not want to be ostracized or unfairly judged by their friends and peers. Because there are so many misconceptions surrounding atheists and what they do or do not believe, many people believe that atheism itself is wrong or bad and so, in many cases, once an Atheist "outs" him/herself, he/she finds his/her relationships strained. This is sad because Western society takes a lot of pride in being tolerant of all beliefs. Atheism is a personal belief that is not all that different than a theology-based belief.

What Does Exemplary 'justice' Tarot Card Actually Mean?

Author: Salome Keomuangtani

The description of tarot cards started around the 15th century, a century after cards were introduced in Europe beginning with the rising cities in Italy. The evolution of Tarot as we know it now has a cross section of stories and legends. The mystical fine of tarot cards intrigues historians, academics and spiritualists. Tarot cards were key used as game portions like regular decks, different from what we think of tarot cards present, although a mention to Tarot as a set of devil cards was made in 1450. The ethnology of tarot cards started in Egypt, which is the same civilization that championed astrology.

Art Nouveau Tarot Deck

Tarot cards are separated into one major arcana and five suits, namely: The Major Arcana, The Suit of Wands, The Suit of Coins, The Suit of Cups, and the Suit of Swords.

The suits are separated as well. Their points' worth and specific meanings are determined by being one of Oudlers/Trulls, Kings, Queens, Cavaliers, Jacks, or Others. Oudlers and Kings have the same value; the others from Queens to Jacks are worth one point less than their predecessors.

Despite this, the English-speaking world pays more attention to the divinatory meanings of the cards, which will be tackled in the next area.

Meaning is assigned to each card in a tarot deck; but, the specifics of interpretation are impacted by the layout of the cards, whether they are upright or reversed, and the interpreter's own studying. Numerous of the cards in the major arcana, the trump cards, are fairly logical. The Lovers act in place of idolize, in some full, while Strength is symbolic of courage and drive. Each of the cards in the minor arcana also carries meaning when used for divination, based on both the numeric value of the card and which suit it is. Meanings of each card can be found online, in books, or simply by interpreting the images on the card.

Face to face tarot readings are interactive in a impression that the reader allows the character to determine which face down card is interpreted by the reader. Face to face readings are commonly found in the lanes of myriads divergent locations in the English-speaking world. In England, there is a going rate of ?12.50 per being, but the price drastically decreases depending on the number of humans paying for the service. Some offer the service in the comfort of one's own home, while some offer it on the street for cheaper rates as well.

There is a purist belief that face to face readings are significantly more accurate than other types of readings these as e-mail readings or phone readings, but indubitably the general destiny of these beliefs is to be completely unfounded like all more astrological arguments.

You could also present a tarot deciphering done over the phone. If you cannot locate a local person who does tarot readings or would prefer additional discretion, this can be a satisfactory choice. While you should expect a tarot understanding over the phone to be rather expensive, do avoid questionable services charging by the minute. There are reputable tarot card readers who provide readings over the phone for a reasonable flat fee. Some may also offer online readings for a pint-sized sum, and provide their interpretation of the cards via email.

Although tarot is labeled something that is as accurate as astrology, there is still a growing tarot service market that is ever increasing through new mediums. But, purists still think that a face to face tarot reading is important. It is also important to note that tarot cards are not purely divinatory devices. They are also used in a lot of countries as cards used for playing. This alone should encourage tarot card users to keep a level head.

Information in the Human Aura, Chakras, And Meridians - A Unified Human Energy Field Theory

Author: Ron Morefield

Energy And Information

The Chinese talk about Qi as the fundamental energy in the universe. It's also called Ki, chi, prana, and manna in other cultures., and in Star Wars it's called The Force. No matter what it's called, this building block consists of two main components. The first is force. This is the most common way of thinking of Qi because Qi was introduced to the west through martial arts... and let's face it, breaking boards and bricks is all about power. The other, more critical part is information. Really, this is the most important component, and the way to understand it is to think of a television signal.

A TV signal may be sent to a TV from a variety of different sources. A broadcast signal, a cable signal, and a DVD player are all examples of different signal sources. On the one hand a broadcast signal has a lot of power. In some cases it has thousands and thousands of watts. On the other hand a cable signal is very weak, thousandths of a watt. The transmission media determines the strength of the signal, but has nothing to do with the picture and sound that you really want to see. That is the information in the signal, and it's the same no matter what the power is. The information part of Qi is extremely important, because that's the part that allows Qi to manifest as rocks, frogs, flowers, dogs, cats, and people, you can think of our universe as a huge three dimensional television set that plays the channels of information in the Qi.

The Human Aura

It's surprising how similar the picture of the human aura is from culture to culture... and the model presented here is, for the most part, universally agreed to. As with the name Qi, the different portions of the human energy field are called different things, but the notions are the same. At the most subtle level, human beings are connected to the universe by a countless number of energetic threads. In ayurevedic medicine these threads are called the nadis. The nadis are literally our information tie to the universe. Humans are in a state of constant communication back and forth with the universe via the nadis... and actually, each person is fundamentally the same as the universe. They are more like whirlpools in water. They appear to be individual entities, but they are actually made of the same stuff as the water. From a modern physics frame of reference, at this subtle level people are constantly exchanging sub-atomic particles with each other, the world, and the universe.

Human Aura & The Significance Of Color

The mental energy body represents energetic information at a somewhat denser level. The mental body can be detected at a distance from the gross physical body. It's the world that is created by the ideas within your mind. This is a new concept for many people, but it is best articulated in the Buddhist idea of the mind as being another organ of perception. Your eyes see the photons emitted by an object, but it's really just a collection of neurological signals. It's the mind that puts these signals together. It says... this is flat, has four legs, and made of wood. It must be a "Table". If you think about it it's easy to see how strong these mental ideas are at influencing our view of the world. In fact, we live in a world of mental abstractions. Take the idea of "freedom" for example. This is a very powerful idea, yet it is completely abstract. There is nothing that we can grasp and say, "This is a freedom." in the same way we can grasp a rock and say "This is a rock." But look at the human effort that has been bound to the idea of freedom. Wars have been fought over this idea.

At a little denser level is the emotional body. As the name suggests, this is the region in which the emotions come into play. The emotional body can be detected a little closer to the physical body. But that needs some explanation. The nature of computer screens and paper diagrams is that these different components of the human energy field look like layers of an onion. That really isn't the case. They all go all the way into the body, but the less dense they are, the further they extend out from the body. So, the emotional body doesn't extend out as far as the mental body, and the mental body doesn't extend out as far as the nadis. Yet, they all permeate the physical body.

The Chakras

The physical energetic body is energy at a still denser plane of existence. The best way to think of this part of the energy field is as an energetic mold for the actual physical body. You can think of the physical molecules and DNA as being poured into this energetic mold to form the human physical body.

The gross physical body exists at the most dense plane of existence. So, the subtle energy of the nadis actually descends into matter. Now consider for a moment that the western medical point of view is that the matter and DNA and body come first and any energy like that detected by an EKG or EEG comes from the body. This is really the opposite viewpoint. Western Medicine does not even acknowledge the human aura energy body.

Crystals, Crosses and Chakras

It's critically important to understand that when it comes to Qi, subtle energy rules over dense energy. The fact is that strong emotions can have adverse effects on the human body itself and can be an important factor in disease. In the same way, mental distortions like those found in what is called schizophrenia can influence the emotions and the physical body.

What is it that makes quarks and electrons and protons and other multi-dimensional vibrational constituents of the universe figure out how to become boulders, trees, trains, and people? Science doesn't know. That returns us to the information component of energy. The thing that makes you manifest the physical body you have manifested is the informational component of the Qi manifesting through the nadis, the mental energy body, the emotional energy body, the physical energy body, and the physical body. You tune in to the network of your own universal blueprint. So in a very real sense, the energetic information is the precursor to the DNA code. The human energy field is a unified system for processing that information.

The Chakras

The chakras each work with specific frequencies of information and act as the central circulation point for that type of information. For example, the heart chakra processes and distributes information related to emotions and the sixth chakra processes and distributes information relation to the mind. Each chakra functions in all the energy bodies, so, for example, the heart chakra distributes information related to ideas about emotions, actual emotions, and information concerning the physical heart. Chinese Medicine associates the physical heart and the heart meridian to the emotion of joy. Joy related information is processed and distributed by the heart chakra. At the mental body level, the heart chakra processes information concerning ideas like "playing with a puppy is joyful." At the emotional level, the heart chakra processes the happiness when you touch or even think of a puppy. On the physical level, the heart chakra moves the right information into the heart meridian and produces physical reactions like increased heart rate when you see a puppy. Each chakra focuses on specific types of information. You can think of that as different stations on a TV set. Even so, the chakras are interconnected into the shushumna channel, which is the main energetic information conduit in the body.

Acupuncture Meridians

The acupuncture meridians reside in the physical energy body. The extraordinary meridians are often called vessels. They provide energy to the main meridian rivers of energy as needed. When considered from an information point of view, they are buffers for the energetic information. Specifically, they buffer the information between the shushumna and chakra system and the main acupuncture meridians. Returning to the television metaphor, the chakras tune into the right station for specific physical organs, they process the energy and store it in the extraordinary meridians, and the extraordinary meridians provide it in usable forms to the twelve main meridians as required. In that way, each part of the physical body gets the specific instructions it needs to do its job correctly.

Theories of Disease and Treatment

The traditional viewpoint of Chinese Medicine is that the flow of energy in the meridians can be too weak, too strong, blocked, or reversed. That is what causes disease and physical ailments. That takes a strictly power viewpoint about energy. When considering the information that the energy contains the information can be received, not received, or distorted. Healthy energy would correspond to information received. Too weak and blocked would correspond to information not received. Too strong and reversed energy would refer to information distorted. The information theory of disease is that illness manifests when the correct information is not received. In other words, for an organ to work correctly it must receive the correct instructions.

The Basis Of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Thinking of human energy from an informational instead of a force point of view may appear to be a subtle difference, but it allows alternative healthcare professionals to understand ailments in both traditional and new ways. Information that is received or not received fits nicely with both traditional acupuncture and chakra balancing. In those modalities, the problem is seen as an imbalance in the amount of energy and the healing task is to bring everything into a state of balance so that everything is receiving exactly the proper amount of energy and information that it should receive.

The Lost Secrets of Ayurvedic Acupuncture: An Ayurvedic Guide to Acupuncture

The intriguing additional insight in the informational viewpoint arises in the idea of distorted information. There really is no similar concept in either acupuncture or chakra balancing. The basic notion is that the flow and amount of energy is ok, but somehow the information the energy contains is corrupted. That means that an organ may be receiving the proper amount of energy, but the instructions it is receiving are somehow erroneous, and that causes the organ to function incorrectly. The information corruption theory applies anywhere in the entire energy field and the implication is that it can lead to an effective treatment strategy for problems ranging from mental illness to stress to emotional trauma. For example, consider a young child that has witnessed an extremely traumatic event like the death of a parent. Chinese Medicine associates grief with the lung meridian. So, you might see asthma or another lung weakness developing in the child. The Chinese Medicine treatment strategy would be to strengthen the energy flow in the lung meridian. Yet the child might develop other lung ailments or emotional or mental problems. Somehow the Chinese approach is limited.

Chinese Medicine in Contemporary China

Viewing the same traumatic event from an informational point of view results in the observation that such an event might leave a permanently distorting injury anywhere in the human energy field of the child. For example, it might be in the emotional energy body. Energetic information that flows from the mental energy body would be mistranslated in the emotional body and the instructions flowing into the physical energy body would be distorted and incorrect. That means the extraordinary and main meridians would transmit distorted instructions to the physical organs including the lungs. The informational point of view might seem like a small difference, but it has significant treatment implications. Instead of treating the amount of energy flowing to the lungs or, worse yet, treating the lungs with medications, the most effective treatment is to remove the effect of the distorting injury, called an impact event, from the emotional energy body. Unless that impact event is effectively treated, the child would continue to experience different physical, emotional, or mental symptoms throughout life.

The Book of Chakras

The human energy field can be thought of as an incredibly sophisticated information processing system and provides a framework for an energetic theory that unifies the human aura, the chakras, and the acupuncture meridians.

What a Hypnosis Session is Like: A Guide for the Hypno-Curious

Author: Wendy N. Lapidus-Saltz

People choose to be hypnotized for various reasons. If they participate in a hypnosis stage show, it may be for fun or novelty, to satisfy curiosity or enjoy the spotlight for a moment.

Those who arrive at my office to be hypnotized come to make changes in their lives, some urgent and important, others playful.

I have hypnotized clients to quit smoking, lose weight, fully embrace an exercise program, gain confidence and skill for sports or educational endeavors, attract love and relationship, encourage fertility and help allay allergies (with physician permission), dispel worries or fears (of dogs, needles, blood), and more.

When they arrive at my office, new clients all have one thing in common. They wonder: What will the experience be like for me?

Maybe you wonder too. Here's the scoop:

If you were to visit a hypnotist, you would likely be asked what you came for specifically: What do you want to change about yourself? What do you want to be, do, have/feel? Improve, eliminate, or think about differently?

If the change you desire occurred, what differences would be noticeable in your daily life? What might you see, hear, feel, taste, smell, or sense?

Then after some discussion about what hypnosis is and isn't, and answering your questions, the hypnotist would assist you into the hypnotic state.

It is likely that you would begin to experience some of these signs of hypnosis:

- Softening or slackening of facial muscles

- Limpness or relaxation of the larger muscles of the body

- Wet eyes

- Temporary eye redness

- Changes in swallowing

- Changes in breathing rate or depth

- Body twitching

- Eyes rolling upward

All are temporary, harmless, and indicate that a receptive hypnotic state has been achieved-a state in which appropriate, hypnotic suggestions can be given.

But how you experience hypnosis depends a lot on you, and on the hypnotist who is working with you. Some people tell me that they felt like they were floating at times; some it seemed that they were sinking into the chair.

Sometimes they describe their bodies as feeling loose and heavy, very heavy, and relaxed.

Watching their trance, I might notice fingers moving or twitching. Eyelids may twitch and then quiet as the skin of the face relaxes and slackens.

Some clients, as they emerge from trance, describe feeling cool or warm, or mention tingling in their fingertips.

For many, none of this occurs or is recalled; yet the habit they came to remove or create-or the perspective they wanted to change-is altered as desired!

So how can you judge the value of the session?

Ask yourself: did I receive some or all of the results desired, or am I progressing more steadily on that path? Was it educational?

Am I enjoying the feeling of being more knowledgeable about what can be done through the mind? And finally: would I like to learn self-hypnosis so it can be another a tool for taking care of myself? ©2009 by Wendy Lapidus-Saltz. All rights reserved.

How To Heal With Runes

Rune Healing

The subject of Rune Healing comes from a very wide field. There is a great deal of information on the Net about Rune Healing. You can find information about how the Vikings and our ancestors used Runes to heal.

But the bottom line to rune healing is energy. The New Paradigm of the Laws of Quantum Physics tell us that all is energy. You and I are energies, the runes are energies, our planet, Solar System, Galaxy and even the Universe is energy.

The Runes are keys to the Creative Energies of the Universe. They are the most powerful symbols and tools you can use to attract more health, wealth and love into your life.

Since we are energy beings we connect to all other energies in the Universe with our Auras. In fact the energies we carry in our Auras attract our physical realities. You want more health, wealth, and love? Then you must have the energy that vibrates to health, wealth and love in your Aura.

Then you must have the patience to allow these energies in you Aura to attract your new reality of health, wealth and love. It takes time.

Another powerful law of Quantum Physics is the law of Resonant Frequencies. A Rune UR symbol is a resonant frequency to the Universal healing energy. Like attracts like.

By practicing one of the following seven methods of Rune healing you can attract the healing energies of UR out of the Quantum Ocean of all energies and into your Aura.

Once the rune UR energy is in your Aura, it will start the healing process that will bring you health.

The following seven methods need a symbol of the UR Rune to be affective.. Copy the UR Rune at the end of this Article.

Rune Meditation: With the UR Rune in your lap relax, breathe deeply and meditate upon it. No thoughts just a simple runic meditation. That is all you have to do. Your mind will make the needed connection.

Rune Breathing: With the Ur Rune in your lap, look at it and intone “I am now breathing the divine healing energy of the Rune Ur out of the Quantum Ocean and into my Aura.”

Rune Yoga: Practice the Rune Ur body and hand postures.

Rune Magic: This is a wide open field for you. I have written several articles on Rune Magic. Pick and Choose the method you like.

Rune Mantras: The power of the spoken Rune Mantras is not to be overlooked. Rune Radionics: The 21st century has not only given us the Laws of Quantum Physics, but also the Internet and the new Science of Radionics. Combining Runes with Radionics powers up all your Rune exercises.

Rune Cooking: Make a batch of your favorite cookies and inscribe or make an icing symbol UR on them. Every day eat one knowing that the laws of Resonant Frequencies will attract abd unleash the healing power of Ur into your body.

I have lightly touched on just seven healing methods. You can find details to each of these methods in my other articles and on my website.

A Novice's Handbook to the Story of Tarot Cards

One of the more common means of stating fortunes and offering insights into the yesteryear and future is the tarot. Tarot cards first originated in Italy in the key half of the fifteenth century as a card game, used purely for recreation. This early game was something like the neoteric game of Bridge. The use of tarot cards for divination is prime recorded in the early 1700s and by the end of the 18th century; changes were made to tarot cards to make them more fit for purpose for divination and esoteric meanings. Originally, tarot cards had no connection to the occult, and this link is a more neoteric one than the cards themselves. The specifics of the present-day cards, planned for esoteric purposes, demonstrate their basis in the 19th century.

A typical tarot deck contains 78 cards consisting of the four suits seen in regular card games, which are hearts, diamonds, spades, and clubs. The Latin version of the tarot deck has a dissimilar set of suits. They are swords, batons, cups, and coins. Like a regular deck, tarot cards are numbered from one to ten plus the four court cards; jack, queen, king, and ace.

The difference between a tarot deck and the regular deck is the 21 divinity cards termed Major Arcana. A joker equivalent in the tarot deck is named the fool, or the excuse. The fool could take every one of four suits and acts as the strongest trump card.

Every card has a diverse meaning, depending upon what the card's suit is, and if it is part of the Minor or Major Arcana. All of the Tarot cards are numbered, so each card serves a reader with a specific numerological value which could be interpreted when, divination practices. Furthermore, the meanings of the cards evolve depending upon where the cards appear in a understanding, as well as what specimen of card layout is used. The cards are read both singularly and together to get a complete reading. The most favourite layouts are the three card spread and the Celtic Cross.

Along with the unfolding interpretations to the meaning of tarot cards come new methods for card readers to express the message to the average Joe. Nowadays, face-to-face card readings are being replaced by phone and online readings. Yet, for abounding impact and experience, face-to-face card readings still trump alternative methods. Face-to-face tarot readings allow the character to select his face-down card, giving him a semblance of control to his fortunes. Face-to-face readings are common in community fairs, parties, and in the avenues. The price of a tarot card deciphering varies depending on the popularity of the reader and how much detail the human being wants to know about his outcome.

Card readings over the telephone are conducted much the same style that card readings face to face are conducted. A querent (caller) will call into a reader, and the reader will ask the caller to concentrate on a question that he or she wants answered or clarified. The card reader then shuffles the cards and lays them out in a particular pattern. Popular patterns include a single card understanding, a three card studying, and a Celtic Cross reading, which is a understanding of 10 various cards. The card reader will examine the symbolism in each card, in addition to the card position to conclude what the cards convey.
It''s in the Cards--: Excavating the Authentic Self Using the Tarot as a Guide

Tarot cards display a long experiences, both as a simple card game and as a tool for divination. The modern usage of these cards is purely esoteric. If you are interested, you should keep in mind that tarot cards are only as helpful as the reader is perceptive, and that while you may leave with some clarifications of your own thoughts, more than that is unlikely.

Indian Vedic Astrology And Astrological predictions

Indian astrology is based on the theory of fate. The good and the bad actions of the past life determine your fate or Karma of your present life, and the actions of your present life determine your future Karma. According to Indian astrology a person is born at that place, on that day and on that moment when his individual fate is in perfect mathematical harmony with the progress of the stars in heaven.

However it does not preach total dependence on fate. Astrology lets you know what you were born with, what your possibilities are, the limitations, your strong points and your drawbacks. What type of life partners and professions suit you and to expect is also indicated. It also prescribes various remedial measures to ward off the bad effects and to enhance the good results. Astrology is your roadmap of destiny. However your fate is in your hands. The scriptures guide us by telling us what is good and what is bad; what to do and what not to do; how to do and how not to do. You are given a piece of land and the seeds to sow. How much effort to put in to it, what amount of manure and water to add and when how to reap the produce is your job.

After that it is you who have to act using your knowledge intelligence, discrimination and experience. Fate is like a game of cards where you cannot help the cards that have been dealt to you but how to play them is in your hands. You may get good cards but if you play badly you will lose and you may get bad cards and still may win if you play carefully. Don’t blame the roadmap if you get drunk, drive badly and have an accident!

Opinions about astrological prediction are generally divided. In fact, both views are based on a misunderstanding of the nature of how astrology really works.

Though it may come as a surprise to the true believer many astrologers believe that astrology cannot make precise predictions about your future although astrology can indeed reveal the tendencies of your future.

If an astrologer tells you that next Tuesday you will be walking down the street, and will accidentally trip and fall, breaking your left wrist as it cracks against a fire hydrant, that would be a pretty precise prediction, wouldn't it. But no astrologer ever makes predictions like that. More likely, an astrologer would say: There is some danger of having an accident next Tuesday; try to be more careful than usual. This is of course not a precise prediction, but rather a statement, based on certain astrological techniques, about an increased probability of a certain type of event occurring. This is the true strength of astrology: not to tell you what is going to happen (since that is beyond its capabilities), but rather, to inform you about the probablilit9es of certain types of events occurring.

Astrology isn’t used to predict the future. It’s used to help you gain insight and understanding into the patterns and directions your life takes. It’s not an absolute, but it’s an indicator. If you don’t like what your astrological or natal charts tell you, it’s certainly within your power to change it. Astrology can give you insight into one potential destiny, but there are too many variables, including the decisions you make for yourself, to predict with any degree of accuracy what will happen in the future.

All The Different Types Of Astrology

Astrology is commonly known in reference to the zodiac signs such as Pisces and cancer that can be found at the back of magazines. However, there is much more to astrology than just that particular type. Astrology is a study that combines a group of systems, beliefs, and traditions with knowledge of celestial bodies and their placement in the universe. Those who study Astrology are called Astrologists and they use this information to further their understanding of information about personalities and human affairs.

They then interpret this information and make conclusions in the form of predictions. Astrology can be used to predict your horoscope for next month, or to make predictions about an entire year. There are many types of astrology, but the most common are Vedic astrology, Chinese astrology, and Aztec astrology. Each of these types of astrology takes the same information, and interprets it in a different way in order to predict major events that the future may hold.
Mundane Astrology: The Astrology of Nations and States

Vedic astrology begins on the day of an individuals birth. This type of astrology considers the position and relevance of the planets on the day of your birth and uses this to make predictions about your personality, nature, and what your goals in life may be. Vedic astrology also makes predictions about a person's personality based on the space and time connection on the day of their birth. There are four elements that are each assigned attributes that determine a person's personality.

The four elements are air, water, fire, and earth. The earth represents a person who is grounded, while the element of fire represents a person who is spontaneous. The element of water represents a person who is creative, while the element of air represents a person who is very intellectual. In Vedic astrology, planet position, zodiac signs, and star positions are all taken into consideration when making predictions and descriptions of any individuals nature.

If you have ever been told that you were born in the year of an animal, you probably know what Chinese astrology is. Chinese astrology is based on a sixty year cycle and each year represents a certain phase. This sixty-year cycle is composed of two individual cycles interacting with each other. The first cycle, the less common of the two, contains the five elements. The five elements are fire, earth water, metal and wood. The second cycle, however, is very common and well-known.

This cycle contains twelve animals that correspond to the twelve months of the year. Each animal contains qualities that relate to their behaviors, and together, they combine to symbolize our fate. The twelve animals are the rat, the ox, the tiger, the rabbit, the dragon, the snake, the horse, the goat, the monkey, the rooster, the dog, and the pig. Each animal has specific qualities that relate to its behavior.

For example, the tiger symbolizes a strong leader who commands loyalty and respect. The use of these animals are how a Chinese astrologer determines the qualities a person will possess depending on which animal's year they are born into.

Aztec astrology is unique because of its originality and complexity. Aztec astrology was created by astrologers from Mesoamerica as early as 600 B.C. the unit of measurement for the Aztec's is the sunrise and the sunset, which marks the beginning and ending of another day. Aztec time cycles differ from our seven days cycle with forms a week and our thirty days cycle which forms a month.

Their time cycles are on a nine day, thirteen days, and twenty days cycle. The reason these numbers do not add up like our time cycles is because in our calendar, each day belongs to a single time cycle. The Aztec's day, however, belongs to many time cycles. This organization seems complicated to us, and the Aztecs not only understood it, but created it thousands of years ago.
Astrology, Psychology & the Four Elements: An Energy Approach to Astrology & Its Use in the Counseling Arts

The Aztec's use this calendar to describe human behavior through a system of twenty-day signs. These signs include the alligator, who symbolizes someone who is protective, and the Lizard, who symbolizes someone who is active. The Aztecs have used this system along with their knowledge of the planets to predict major world events for centuries.

Tarot Cards And Why We Use Them

Tarot cards are commonly found in decks containing seventy eight cards. These seventy eight cards can be divided many ways. The most common method, however, is to classify them by trump cards, court cards, and pip cards. There are twenty-one trump cards, or if you choose to include the fool into this group, there are twenty-two cards. There are then four suits that contain fourteen cards each. When you break down this group, you find that each suit contains ten pip cards and four suit cards.

Together the four suits form the remaining fifty six cards of the deck. In Europe, tarot cards are commonly used for games and fun. However, in English speaking countries such as America, these Tarot Cards are strictly used for divinity purposes, or fortune telling. There are two major groups inside the deck. The twenty-one trump cards and one fool card form the mm arcana and the four suits of fourteen cards form the minor arcana. Each one of these seventy-eight cards has a description, meaning, and prediction of its own.

The trump cards and the fool card combine to form the major arcana. Each trump card is numbered from zero to twenty one, zero commonly represents the fool card. According to each number and title, there is a picture and a meaning that belongs to each card. These cards are the most descriptive and therefore are the most symbolic. The Fool starts off the deck at zero, and this card represents an unexpected opportunity.

When this card is pulled by a fortune teller, it may predict a new job promotion or interview in the future. The card numbered fifteen represents the Devil, which represents a feeling of being trapped. If this card is pulled, it may reflect the clients feelings about an unhealthy relationship and a need to escape. The card numbered twenty one always represents the world whose common meaning is a journey, maybe one of self-awareness. However, some will say that the cards zero through twenty one follow the path of someones life ending on twenty one with enlightenment. The trump cards are commonly read as fortunes, but can be misleading if you don't fully understand the things they represent.

The minor arcana can be divided many different ways. It can be divided into four suits, each containing fourteen cards. It can also be divided further from the fourteen cards into ten pip cards and four court cards for each suit. This section of the deck containing fifty six cards is similar to the classic American deck. There are a total of sixteen court cards. These are commonly known as face cards and in accordance to their respective decks, they each represent different things.

Court cards always indicate people, they may be past or present. They also carry a meaning that may serve as a prediction for the client. The sixteen court cards can be divided into four face cards for each of the four suits. The four suits include the suit of the cup, the wand, the sword, and the pentacle.

In the case of the suit of the cup, the King of Cups represents a kind, loving man, the Queen represents a helpful woman, the Knight represents a hopeless romantic and the Page represents a lazy young person. Each suit contains a King, Queen, Knight, and Page and each card contains a different meaning.

The other half of the minor arcana are the pip cards. Pip cards are another word for the cards numbered one through ten in each of the four different suits. The number one card represents the Ace. There are forty pip cards in all and much like the court cards, they each correspond to the four suits. Each number on the scale of ten link to one of the spheres of the tree of life. The ace card is linked to Kether, or the crown. The number two is linked to Chokmah, or wisdom. The number three is linked to Binah, or understanding. The number four is linked to Chesed, or mercy.

The number five is linked to Geburah or strength. The number six is linked to Tipharetn, or beauty. The number seven is linked to Netzach, or victory. The number eight is linked to Hod, or splendor. The number nine is linked to Yesod, or foundation. Lastly, the number ten is linked to Malkuth, or kingdom. These links are true to all pip cards, no matter which suit they belong to. However, how they are linked to these spheres changes as you change suits.

Mundane Astrology: The Astrology of Nations and States

Astrology has been the domain of sages and Brahmins. Sages from pre Vedic era had very good knowledge of Astrology. There are three main sub-divisions of Astrology.

(1) Samhita : This deals with collectivity or multitudes. It encompasses such varied areas as weather forecasts, agricultural produce, natural disasters, floods, famines, wars, earthquakes, cyclones, market trends, changes in government, national and international events, and virtually anything that influences the masses. The annual world predictions which are generally based either on Hindu New Year commencing on the Chaitra Shukla Pratipada, or on the solar Ingress into Mesha, fall under the Samhita astrology.

(2) Siddhanta or Tantra or Ganita : This deals with the mathematical aspects of astrology. There are several treatises on Siddhanta Astrology but five among them are considered as particularly important.

a) Surya Siddhanta
b) Paulisha Siddhanta
c) Romaka Siddhanta
d) Vasishtha Siddhanta
e) Paitamaha Siddhanta
A proficiency in these is considered as a prerequisite for a good astrologer, according to the celebrated Varahmihira

3) Hora : It deals with :

a) Individual horoscopes, or Jataka, or natal charts of a person.

b) Muhurta or electional Astrology, which concerns itself with the election of favorable planetary dispositions to achieve specific accomplishments in day-to-day life.
